There are approximately 3,672 children legally freed waiting to be adopted in New York's Foster Care system. It is the desire of New York 1.27 to help change that by collaborating with other organizations to see these children in forever families.

encourage the church and families to get involved in the New York Foster Care System by fostering, adopting, supporting and mentoring with the ultimate goal to help these children find permanency. New York 1.27 exists to “visit orphans in distress” and “to take up the cause of the Fatherless” To show the Gospel being acted out!
